The five-lever framework
Every page, whether it's part of a $900 review or a $5,500 audit, is scored against the same five checks:
- Citability — does the page state something plainly enough for an AI to quote it directly, or does it hedge?
- Conversational Alignment — does it open by answering the question the way people actually phrase it to an AI assistant, not just a keyword fragment?
- Authority Signals — is there a named author, real credentials, or a sourced data point an AI can verify, or is it anonymous?
- Factual Density — specific numbers and named claims, or adjectives like "industry-leading" that carry no citable content?
- Structured Clarity — clean heading hierarchy, FAQ schema, one clear topic per page, so a model can parse the page reliably before extracting anything from it?
The nine-step process
Same five phases run on every engagement, larger engagements just move through more of the later ones:
- Full-site crawl and technical baseline
- AI citation gap analysis
- Information architecture and internal-linking map
- Schema and structured-data plan
- Five-lever page optimization
- Content gap fill
- AI share-of-voice tracking
- Rank and traffic monitoring, including direct AI Overview citation checks
- Content decay refresh and reporting
Full detail on each step is on the homepage process section.
What a deliverable actually looks like
Not a slide deck. A written report, split into fixes you can make yourself in your CMS and fixes that need a developer, plus rewritten copy (title, meta description, H1, FAQ) and copy-ready JSON-LD schema where it's missing. For a Page Review that covers one page; for an Audit it covers ten plus the site-wide technical baseline and internal-linking plan.
The credential behind it
AEO Fundamentals, HubSpot Academy: covering how LLMs surface and cite content over traditional keyword ranking, applying E-E-A-T to earn AI trust, structuring content for machine parsing, and the core AEO metrics. Details on the About section.
Where to start
Three fixed-price entry points, described in full on GEO Consulting: a single Page Review ($900), a bundled AI Visibility Audit ($5,500), or a Monthly Retainer once there's a baseline to track against.
Common questions
What's in the toolkit?
The five-lever review framework (Citability, Conversational Alignment, Authority Signals, Factual Density, Structured Clarity), the nine-step audit-to-reporting process, what a deliverable actually looks like at each service tier, and the credentials behind the work. It's the same rundown that used to circulate as a PDF, kept current here instead.
Who is this for?
Anyone evaluating Small Factory 5 before engaging: an in-house marketing lead comparing GEO vendors, an agency considering a subcontractor for AI-visibility work, or a procurement contact who needs something more concrete than a sales page before approving a scope.
Is this free?
Yes. It's a description of the process and what you get, not a paid deliverable itself; the actual work starts with a Page Review or Audit.
